The vision of Lighthouse Landscaping is to immerse itself in the many facets of landscaping.

About Lighthouse Landscaping

Lighthouse Landscaping started life as Apex Gardening in 2013 when Paul McDonough saw a need for local gardening work in the community. With some members of the local area unable to physically tend to their garden and other busy individuals lacking time, Paul felt there was a need to be met and proceeded to create Apex Gardening.

The direction of the company changed in 2016 due to the demand for landscaping projects, hence the change of name and the imagery of the Lighthouse as a beacon in the community and a well recognised symbol for the Isle of Wight.

To this day, Lighthouse Landscaping holds a workforce of three regular individuals, each with their own skills and strengths.

Paul Mcdonough

Paul Mcdonough

Founder

As creator and owner of Lighthouse Landscaping, Paul oversees all projects and ventures for the business. With ten years of horticultural and agricultural experience and the highest craftsman’s certification, Paul has a wealth of knowledge and experience that he applies to every job.

Paul’s view is that there is no ‘i’ in ‘team’ and that it is a team effort. Without his guys, the projects would come to a standstill.

Joel

Joel

Joel has been working for the company for nearly two years and been a key player in steering its development towards landscaping. He is a thinker and has an eye for detail, often seen standing in the middle of a garden simply looking at something to see if it can be made better.
Ray

Ray

Ray has been working for the company for nearly a year. The newest addition to the workforce, he arguably holds title for strongest worker. Ray has first hand experience of disabled friendly gardening and making somewhere accessible is something he has an eye for.

Our desire to achieve excellence in our work goes hand in hand with meeting our goal to give you, the customer a high quality and pleasant experience. We endeavour at all times to listen to your input on garden design and strive to meet your expectations.
